PESHAWAR: The neighborhood body representatives of Peshawar’s Sheikhan village have banned music and dance sports throughout wedding ceremony festivities.

Neighborhood government representatives of the village announced on Friday via loudspeakers they were knowledgeable through safety resources that such gatherings might also become goal of militants.

The information despatched a wave of panic across the village and three song and dancing programmes had been cancelled in the village.

Fazaullah announcing, “We wanted to prevent the exercise of musical evenings which might be organised at the occasion of weddings and hold till pretty overdue into the night time.”

He said young people participate in them with great zeal and fail to recognize that they’re now not a wholesome socialhobby at all.

The district member stated the statement served a couple of purpose.
